The Australian winery is now adding a Rosé wine to its portfolio. The 2019 Roennfeldt Road Shiraz Rosé was released in June 2019 because tastes have evolved along with population demographics.
“We are excited to expand the range of Greenock Creek Wines by launching a Rosé that better meet the needs of a broader demographic whilst preserving the sacrosanctity of our current range and maintain the essence of what makes our wines so distinctive”.
The 2019 Roennfeldt Road Shiraz Rosé is made to drink immediately at release with an ABV of 12%. It has aromas of guava, pomegranate and anise.
The 2019 vintage saw a dry winter continue though the growing season, combining with one of hottest starts to the year. This resulted in amazing intensity of flavour, tannin and colour in the berries.
Grapes were sourced from the Seppeltsfield sub-region. It was hand harvested and de-stemmed without being crushed in an air bag press. Only the free run juice was retained and racked cloudy into seasoned American oak barrels for fermentation. Maturation occurred in barrel for 8 weeks before the wine was stabilised and bottled young to retain freshness.
Perfect with smoked salmon and Asian green salads, it is available now from our cellar door in Marananga for a price of AUD 45.
