This wine is sourced from a single-site, organically farmed vineyard in Marananga, planted in the gully of the hillside on the edge of the district. The block sits on a south-east–facing slope, rooted in red and brown clay soils intertwined with veins of pink quartz. Fruit was harvested in the early morning to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Stainless steel tank ferment, with the skins held in the press for several hours, contributing additional texture, structure, and mouthfeel. The wine was matured on full fermentation lees, split equally between clay amphora and stainless steel, enhancing complexity, weight, and subtle savoury elements.
Lifted floral jasmine layered over bright lemon zest, with notes of pear and white peach.A rich and creamy mid-palate supported by mineral flicks and a subtle dill-herb nuance. Flavours of yellow peach and apricot are abundant, with lees contact adding delicate doughy and cashew-like elements that enhance texture and complexity.
