Refund policy

We want your Greenock Creek Wines order to arrive correctly and in good condition. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at info@greenockcreekwines.com.au and we will work with you to resolve it.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products, Greenock Creek Wines does not generally accept returns or provide refunds where a customer has simply changed their mind after purchasing.

This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged in Transit

We take care to securely package wines prior to dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where possible, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate the issue promptly.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A photograph of the damaged item or items
  • A photograph of the outer packaging or carton
  • A photograph showing the Australia Post shipping label
  • Any other photographs that help show the condition in which the order arrived

Please exercise care when handling damaged bottles or broken glass. You are not required to retain broken glass where doing so would create a safety risk.

Once we have reviewed the information provided, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy where applicable.

If we determine that damaged goods need to be returned to Greenock Creek Wines, we will arrange or cover the reasonable cost of the required return postage. Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Incorrect or Incomplete Orders

If you receive an incorrect wine, an incorrect quantity, or an item is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

To help us investigate and resolve the issue efficiently, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A photograph of the wines received
  • A photograph showing the contents of the delivery carton
  • A photograph of the outer carton and Australia Post shipping label
  • Details of the item that is incorrect or missing

Please retain the wines and original packaging where practical until we have reviewed the issue.

Once the order has been checked, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other resolution.

If we confirm that an incorrectly supplied item needs to be returned to Greenock Creek Wines, we will arrange or cover the reasonable cost of the required return postage. Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Faulty Wine

If you believe a wine purchased from Greenock Creek Wines has a genuine wine fault, please contact us with your order number, the name and vintage of the wine, and a description of the issue.

Where practical, please retain the bottle, closure and remaining wine until we have responded, as these may assist us in assessing the issue.

We may request photographs or further information before determining the appropriate resolution.

Where a wine is found to be faulty, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

A preference regarding the style, flavour or character of a wine does not, by itself, constitute a product fault.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
